Op-Ed Illustration
Designed for an article about NASA's astronaut selection process, the illustration portrays the Big Dipper reaching into a bowl of stars, representing the numerous candidates. The stars in the ladle are different colors, representing the diverse group which will be selected—people of different races, genders, and skills.
