Capstone Design Research & Branding | “Urban Stories ATX”
UT School of Design and Creative Technologies | Fall 2018

Urban Stories ATX uncovers the soul of the city, telling the story of the place & its people.
A stretch of the trail along Town Lake that I know & love inspired the Urban Stories ATX brand & interactive experience.

To collect data, I developed questions, which became prompts on physical cards with space to write an answer. The card acted as a device for verbal storytelling, breaking down boundaries & allowing people to share what was on their mind or in their heart at the moment. After weeks of collecting responses from visitors to the trail, I displayed the cards in an installation, exposing unseen thoughts & interactions to promote observation & awareness.

For easy social engagement, I created an Instagram and hashtag, (#urbanstoriesatx), in addition to a website.
